Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions using liquified nitrous oxide. The treatment takes seconds and requires no anaesthesia. There are no limitations on activities (except protecting the area from damage or abrasion) and you can return to normal activities after treatment.
The Cryopen is a unique pen like device allowing for more targeted treatments, meaning no healthy tissue will be affected during treatments.

Advanced Electrolysis
Using a short wave diathermy current, a tiny probe is used to pass the heat of the current to the target tissue. Only the smallest amount of discomfort is felt, if any. For most there is no discomfort at all. The target cells are cauterised, destroying the blemish.
This is ideal for treating thread veins / broken capillaries, milia, cherry angioma (blood spots) and skin tags.

An image of the mole or blemish will be taken with a special lens and sent off to a dermatologist for assessment. A report will be sent back within 3 days. This gives you the reassurance that your blemish is being seen quickly by a specialist, avoiding long waits for GP appointments.
